Authors Notes: (no spoilers here): This is an extremely hard scenario. The map size is small which places less emphasis on adventuring around and more on your tactical and problem solving abilities. Only a highly skilled and advanced player could complete this scenario. This is *not* a map where to win you must get lucky or just fight everything (i.e. "pound" your way to victory). Of course if you want to kill everything then by all means feel free, but to win you must also be extremely saavy. "Escape From Baator" is not merely a dry chess-match, it is a very detalied story with a deep plot. The story is perhaps the most important aspect of playing this map, and I hope you enjoy it.

Startup Notes: (no spoilers here): When you begin the game you will control two characters, "Grace" and "Nameless One". Both of these characters must survive! The game will only recognize a loss of one hero (it wont let you set a loss condition for two). So it is currently set to "lose" if Grace is defeated, but keep in mind that losing "Nameless One" means you have been defeated as well. At the start of the game, you will have to fight a few battles. These are extremely difficult to win and will require a lot of strategy and tactical wit. For some, the first few battles may be so difficult one might think they are impossible to win, but I assure you that it can be done (there is a link to spoilers below on how to do this). Once you get past the first few battles, things will get a bit easier (but not too easy). If you follow the story, you should have a fun time playing. Enjoy!
